I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning today anticipating my 5:30 alarm. Clearly I am ready for my 28 day meditation commitment! I wake up at 5:30 to meditate on most days, but today was like renewing my vows. As I sat on my cushion, I couldn't help imagining all the other beautiful souls breathing with me. With that thought, I sent my intent to all my fellow meditators this month the way Sharon has lovingly taught me - may you be safe, may you have ease of well being, may you be healthy, may you be happy. Twenty minutes and the calls for mom came too quickly. I have four kids. Nothing serves me or my family better than my twenty minutes in the morning. Focusing on my breath before everyone gets up in the morning is a kind reminder to myself: don't forget to breath during the difficult moments I may encounter today. And if I forget and I react instead of respond, my kids are the first to remind me, "You need to sit longer." Hmmm. Just not today. Sukeyxx
